The pros to this book are the pictures and detailed information. This area is excellent. She also has recommendations from popular Youtubers and Joel Salatin.Sadly, the book is not referenced... Which is often a red flag on the research. Just flipping through the book I have found a few inaccuracies. I feel like the book is trying to sell me essential oils. These marketing companies often spew that Frankensense and Myrrh were given to Jesus as essential oils.... Despite that process not being invented for about a thousand more years. She claims this as well, yet there is no resources to back up her history.Then there are simple things like using bentonite clay with metal... Which shouldn't be done. Certainly nothing life-altering, but I feel as though the resources are more from Pinterest than educated herbalists.I think the author is likely an amazing person and people are more recommending her book based off of her than her book.She also credits vaccinations in helping to decrease communicable diseases.... Not very holistic.As a Christian, I also didn't appreciate her using the Lord's name in vain on occasions. I do expect that out of many books... I guess it is my fault for making assumptions based off of the well-marketed book.In the end, I might refer to this book occasionally for its beautiful pictures, but I'll like stick to my Dr. CHRISTOPHER'S book for information.
